I don’t know if I’d call it a haul over the last few weeks per se, but I’ve added a handful of books to the shelves. Exhibit A:
Daughter of the Forest and Son of the Shadows
by Juliet Marillier. You know, in preparation for a certain something (Seven Days for Sevenwaters) coming up in a little more than a week. Sorcha and Liadan, here we come! Can you believe that I didn’t own copies of these yet? I had been delaying purchasing the first two books of the series because I prefer the gorgeous UK paperbacks, but still, a H U G E oversight on my part.
Exhibit B:
Yes, this is technically my second copy. I already had the egalley of Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan but I couldn’t resist the chance to request a print ARC through Amazon Vine. It’s already making the lending rounds. Full review coming soon.
And Exhibit C:
Ironskin by Tina Connolly. a steampunk-retelling of Jane Eyre from Netgalley. Yipee! If the towering TBR doesn’t get in the way I have every intention of reading this soon.
So overall, quality book collecting. What about you?

Ahhhh, I really need to request Ironskin. It just sounds so great.
I love that edition of Daughter Of The Forest. Mine is the hardcover and doesn’t have the pretty red font. I just think the red really makes it pop.
Ahhhh I cannot WAIT for Seven Days For Sevenwaters.
I actually love both the font of the title and the color. Maybe I should stop eyeing those UK editions… I can’t wait either! I hope you stop by.
Yay for Juliet Marillier! I want to get hardcovers of her Sevenwaters series but I have no idea how hard it is to get those. You know I’ve been tempted to order signed copies of her books from Australia? And obviously, I can’t wait for Seven Days for Sevenwaters.
Signed copies from Australia?! That would be cool. Are they a fortune for you even with your geographical nearness?
Yep, still pretty expensive! Let me know if you’re interested, I can let you know the details.
