Not that I really needed any more books for the summer after this haul, but I bought a few this month anyway.
This Is Not a Test by Courtney Summers
The Glass Guardian by Linda Gillard
Easy by Tammara Webber
I read Easy and two others during my vacation, I’m currently reading The Glass Guardian, and I’m itching to pick up This Is Not A Test.
How about you? How is your summer reading going and did you happen to snatch up any June releases?

I’m so glad you picked up This Is Not a Test! Worth it, even if you really don’t need more books.
After Angie and Janice both reading Easy, I’m really intrigued in it, excited to see if you liked it as well! The June release I most need to pick up that I haven’t yet is For Darkness Shows the Stars, but I’m debating how soon to read it. I’m going to participate in Mysti’s Austen in August readalong of Persuasion over at The Book Rat, and I’m worried I’ll get all nit picky on For Darkness Shows the Stars if Persuasion is too fresh in my mind. Or maybe I just need to read it first.
Me too!
I liked Easy, maybe not quite as much as Angie, but it does suck you in quickly and you just have to keep reading. There are some hot scenes as well, which is always nice.
Ooh, I want to participate in that readalong! Mmm, tough call, but I would read Persuasion first – you wouldn’t want the original to be spoiled, right? In retrospect I definitely wouldn’t.
I’m still working through my BEA pile…and then I got a surprise book from S&S and dropped everything to read it (I finished it today! it was amazing).
You can never have too many books
Oo, I’m curious to know what you thought of EASY–I’ve read Angie and Janice’s reviews for it–I’m even considering breaking my no e-book rule just to read this story. And O.O! A new Linda Gillard e-book! I’ve been meaning to read her books as well…. sigh.
Anyway, I hope you’re enjoying all your summer reads!
Ooh, which S&S book? I’m dying to know!
In all honesty I haven’t started on the BEA pile yet. I forced myself to finish up some books I received before BEA first before I tackled it. I’m dying to read The Raven Boys though, especially since you loved it, and I’ve read a couple of other bloggers responses to it. Maybe after This is Not a Test. So many choices… But you’re right, you can never have too many books, especially since they seem to come in ebbs and flows.
Thanks for coming over! I’m woefully behind in the reader since my vacation.
Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols. That book blew me away–I think I may like it even more than Going Too Far!
Sigh. The Raven Boys=amazing. But whatever book you do choose to read afterwards, I hope you enjoy it. I’m going back and forth between my BEA pile and what I have left of my review pile.
And of course! *hugs*
I totally picked up Easy based on Angie’s recommendation!
And omggggg THIS IS NOT A TEST. That book is forever legit. I need to buy a copy for my Courtney Summers collection, ha ha.
I’m planning to read Easy soon because of Angie’s recommendations! And because Janice liked it as well. So funny how many book blogging buddies picked up that book after Angie posted her review. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it.
