Since becoming a book blogger, I’ve always wanted to participate in Bloggiesta, a blogging party led by PEDRO (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize.) that’s all about perfecting your blog along with all the other bloggers participating in the festivities. This is the first time I’ve been able to since there hasn’t been one held in the last year or two. I may not have any more time than usual this weekend for blogging but I thought I’d sign up anyway since I’ve enjoyed reading the challenge posts and I’d love to prioritize the blog goals I’d like to reach in the next little while. My to-do list:
-Make To Do list ![]()
-Write and schedule IMM post
-Start book review(s) for next week
-Find a new subscribe by email widget and test it (Can anyone suggest one?)
-Edit blog pages (About, Contact, Book Art, Reviews)
-Look at draft of designs for blog business cards/bookmarks
-Look at layout, brainstorm potential changes in design (background image, header image, etc.)
Check back for progress updates. Striking through list items is probably my favorite thing about making a list.

Yes, crossing off things on a to do list id the best part!
Yay! So glad you are jumping on in!
Lol, crossing stuff off lists IS probably the best thing about making lists.
Good luck with accomplishing all of your goals
Yep, I love crossing things off my list as well. Yay, glad you’re participating in Bloggiesta this weekend. I tried to keep my list simple but the mini-challenges are tempting me to do more that what I originally planned.
I love list crossing! Makes me feel so accomplished
Also saw your Sophie Kinsella post. Isn’t she fantastic?! I first “met” her with the Shopaholic series, but now have read everything but her newest (so I’m a little jealous of you). She also writes under her real name, Madeline Wickham, but I haven’t found those to be as funny. Have a great rest of the weekend!
I had no idea that was what PEDRO stood for *blink*. Now that I’ve checked, I can see that in the Bloggiesta posts – I must have skimmed over it!
I’m probably going to leave a couple of my to-dos until another time, but yeah, it’s been satisfying crossing off items!

Hope you get to cross off some to-do items by tonight! I enjoyed crossing off a few of mine, but certainly didn’t get them all done. Bloggiesta was a great kick-in-the-shorts to do some spring spruce-up on BooksYALove.
Off to write my B post for Monday in the AtoZ Blogging Challenge (26 book recommendations in 30 days… what was I thinking!?)
