Is this logo familiar to anyone? I have seen it around before along with images of book shirts but otherwise I didn’t know anything about it. GoneReading‘s an incredibly cool concept, actually.
GoneReading International, LLC is a philanthropic company that markets products for book lovers and donates 100% of its profits to fund new libraries in developing countries. Their line includes anything book and reading related from book ends, book lights, bookmarks, bookplates, and book games to book shirts.
So why am I telling you this? Well starting today and for one month I’m offering you a 25% discount courtesy of GoneReading on all items purchased at http://gonereading.com except book ends. All you have to do is enter BOOKHARBINGER25 at checkout.
Awesome, huh? Now if I can recommend some of my favorite items (which come from aptly named special collections such as Book Club gifts, Gifts for a Librarian, and Jane Austen gifts).
Bookmarks:
Book journals (pictured below is the mini one):
Cool T-shirts for librarians even I could wear to work (or gift to my coworkers):
Pretty book plates (something which all book hoarders need):

And a cooler than it looks book board game where players guess the title or author of a book from its opening lines. I think this would be perfect for blogger meet ups and book club meetings. Under $40 and with free shipping this is so tempting…
Personally I cannot wait to have an excuse to buy something! Happy shopping, and feel free to spread the word.

Oooo! The game looks fun but something tells me it would show how horribly unfamiliar I am with the classics.
There’s a disclaimer in the product listing saying that you’ll be surprised to know more than you think, but I’m still a little doubtful, too. I think the English graduates I know would beat me for sure.
I like this website a lot. Ah, I’m a sucker for those places that donate proceeds to libraries and such.
And I want that red ‘Library: Check it out’ shirt.
I, too, cannot resist the “Check it Out” pun.
How did I not know about this shop? I love their stuff, especially those Japanese print book plates…
I am a sucker for those too! Too many items I must buy.
Glad you posted about Gone Reading too! What did you end up buying?
Nothing yet. I think it may have to be a shirt first. You?
I won’t be able to buy anything because they don’t deliver to the Philippines.
But I thought it would be nice to promote the site even if I could buy their products.
Oh sad! I thought they shipped internationally.
Yeah, it was definitely a great move to promote them anyway.
Must have the “Books I’ve Read” journal. Must have it now now now!
Lol, I know! I love it. Now mini or regular size, which to choose…
