A few days ago I pushed a book on my friend Kate that I thought was her cup of tea and I received this text message from her a day later:

If that wasn’t enough to make me grin from ear to ear, she posted this status on her Facebook last night:
Simply awesome, huh? Now can anyone guess which book it is?

I know! And really, it is. You could say the same things about The Book Thief, but this book is much more recent. Like last month recent.

haha, yay! I KNEW it had to be Laini Taylor. Her book’s been everywhere lately…but it’s one of the few books that *truly* deserve all the hype. I raved about it enough that my friend bought a copy of it

I was going to guess Daughter of Smoke and Bone but Sandy already said it! YAY, I’m so glad another reader fell in love with Laini Taylor’s latest. It’s such a lovely book and I think it deserves all the hype that it’s been getting.

I pushed it on my sister and she loved it but got angry with me since she had to wait a whole year for the sequel LOL
