In which a day is made

A few days ago I pushed a book on my friend Kate that I thought was her cup of tea and I received this text message from her a day later:

Wow I love love this book. Fantastically smart and beautifully written. Can’t stop reading. Thx

If that wasn’t enough to make me grin from ear to ear, she posted this status on her Facebook last night:

Simply awesome, huh? Now can anyone guess which book it is?

*dingdingding* Yep! Good job. :) I know Janice and Angie didn’t love it but Mari should be happy about that.

haha, yay! I KNEW it had to be Laini Taylor. Her book’s been everywhere lately…but it’s one of the few books that *truly* deserve all the hype. I raved about it enough that my friend bought a copy of it :)

I was going to guess Daughter of Smoke and Bone but Sandy already said it! YAY, I’m so glad another reader fell in love with Laini Taylor’s latest. It’s such a lovely book and I think it deserves all the hype that it’s been getting.

LOL and I love your friend’s last comment in that Facebook thread :P
