In My Mailbox: Forever at last

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren and was inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. This meme is about books that you received or bought during the week.

While I was on vacation again this is what came:

Giveaway: ARC of Forever by Maggie Stiefvater

Bought: The Demon’s Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan

I’ve been looking forward to reading Forever. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to it soon. I didn’t have my own copy of The Demon’s Lexicon so I thought I should fix that. I hope to re-read it – if only just my favorite parts – before the summer is over.

What did you receive this week? Tell me or leave a link in the comments.

Have fun reading Forever! I still haven’t read Linger but I already have a copy of it. And speaking of Sarah Rees Brennan’s books, I’m hoping to read my borrowed copy of Demon’s Surrender soon. I didn’t make an IMM post this week but I got to borrow Warm Bodies from a fellow Filipino book blogger so yay for that. :)

Oh, I really liked Linger. It surprised me. I hope you get around to reading it sometime, but Warm Bodies! I can’t wait for you to read that. I read Demon’s Surrender while I was on vacation and I enjoyed it. :D Hope you like it.

I still haven’t picked up a copy of Shiver! I keep meaning to but other books keep getting in the way. This week I got a copy of Hold Closer Necromancer by Lish McBride and THE DARK ENQUIRY!!!! I’m try to whizz through my next two books so I can finally crack that baby open!

I got The Magicians this week from the library, which I read about on the NPR blog as something to read after Harry Potter. It’s been really great so far. It’s about a magician in college trying to deal with the adult world where magic doesn’t make life easier or less complicated.

Oh, I’ve heard great things about The Magicians. The premise sounds fun too. I will add it to the TBR. Thanks for stopping by Amy Beth!
