Ever since I was amazed by Courtney Summers’ Some Girls Are, I’ve been interested in reading Cracked Up To Be. Thanks to Amy‘s tweet I was able to take advantage of the killer $3.98 it’s currently going for on Amazon.
After seeing The Lover’s Dictionary by David Levithan pop up around the blogosphere this month I decided, very impulsively, that I couldn’t resist that adorable but modern cover. The positive reviews didn’t hurt either.
I haven’t read anything by Levithan so I’m not sure what to expect but I’ll have a review of this one up shortly.
What irresistible titles ended up in your mailboxes this week?

I didn’t know that The Lover’s Dictionary is already out! Time to start hunting for that here, too.
Great books this week. I loved Cracked Up to Be but I haven’t read Some Girls Are yet.
Happy reading.
Sally.

I’m a Levithan fan and Lover’s Dictionary sounds very interesting.
My IMM
I’ve read 5 YA David Levithan books and they were all wonderful. I’m sure his adult title will be just as fabulous
I’ve been meaning to pick up a copy of The Lover’s Dictionary for a while now. Enjoy!
I look forward to seeing what you think of David Levithan’s books! I’ve read his collaborations with Rachel Cohn but I haven’t read any of his own work.
Ooh ~ i think you will LOVE cracked up to be
It’s pretty diff from some girls are but still bursting with energy
