In My Mailbox: Book Blogger Holiday Swap Gift

I was absolutely thrilled to receive my first Christmas present this week – my Book Blogger Holiday Swap gift (!):

It came all the way from Nova Scotia and the excellent blogger Chris of Chrisbookarama. It was such a thoughtful, great collection of books and crafty things that I’m feeling like the holiday swap gift I sent is inadequate now. Contents:

-Folly by Marthe Jocelyn (ARC) Looks like a hauntingly lovely YA historical novel. Pretty cover, too.

-Jane of Lantern Hill by L.M. Montgomery. Never heard of this one but I loved the Anne of Green Gables series and The Blue Castle.

-Plus handmade soap, delicious smelling lip balm, cute snowman ornament, lovely watercolor landscape bookmark, and a chic journal. What more could a girl ask for?

Thanks, Chris for the awesome gift! I love it. :D

You got your holiday swap package already! And you have some nice stuff in there. :) Haven’t heard of the books but they look good, I look forward to your reviews of them. I can’t wait to get my package and for my Santee to receive the one that I prepared.

Nice book — I love historicals, so I’m looking forward to seeing your thoughts on Folly. And omg, I’ve never heard of Jane of Lantern Hill, but I’m such a huge Anne of Green Gables fan that I’m going to have to track it down now. Love, love, love those books.

Hope you get a chance to swing by IMM

  3. Yay! I’m glad you like it!

I love Chris’ site so I’m happy to hear she got your name!! You’ll have to make sure you spend some time at her blog – so fun. Also, wonderful package!

I just sent mine off last week so hopefully they’ll get it soon.
