Book Blogger Holiday Swap

Can you believe that it’s already that time of year again? Personally I am getting all excited thinking about the book gift giving I will be doing this year. As well as Christmas exchanges with my siblings and my in-laws I have several November and December birthdays to shop for as well, and I already have some gifts in mind… (Jane, Dark Road to Darjeeling, Emotional Geology, Archangel, Daughter of the ForestThe Knife of Never Letting Go, etc.)

So this announcement just makes me plain giddy: Sign ups for the annual Book Blogger Holiday Swap are now open! Go here to find out more and here to sign up before November 14.

I enviously read about many bloggers’ experiences last year when I didn’t have a blog so this is my first year participating. I can’t wait to find out who my Santee is and begin shopping! Thanks to Chachic for the heads up. :)

Yay, you signed up as well! I have a feeling it’s going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to find out who my Santee is so I could start doing research, which means stalking his/her blog. I’m jealous that you have siblings and in-laws who will appreciate the books that you mentioned. I would love to give some of those as gifts although I don’t know anyone who’ll like them.

I’ve never thought about it but yeah, it is pretty nice that I can get my family to read some of the books I like. I’ve gotten both my mother and MIL, two of my sisters and one of my SIL to read the Lady Julia Grey series and they’ve all loved it.

I read your post and Chachic’s post and I signed up too! I love getting presents for people for Christmas, and this is an extra excuse to shop for books and share the ones I really liked. :D
