On My Wishlist

Since my birthday’s in a few days I’ve been thinking of those things that have been languishing on my wishlist for awhile, as well as those things that have just been added. I’ve been eyeing these cloth-bound Penguin hardcover classics for quite awhile, especially since they’ve been showcased in my local Barnes and Noble.  Everytime I’m there, I can’t resist touching a cover, or flipping though one of the beauties. It’s hard to pick favorites, but above are a few of them that both I like the design and reread occasionally.  But since they’re all so pretty, I’d settle for this 12-piece collection:D Here are the entire twenty titles (so far) for your viewing delight:

Wow! Those are beautiful! I’ve seen them at Barnes and Noble before. My husband has a set of leather-bound classic books. I always get compliments on them.

Ooh. When’s your birthday?? Mine’s coming up in just over a month. And those are beauties. I’ve seen a couple at B&N as well. Excellent wishlist choices. ;)

Emily, seeing them in person just makes them that much harder to resist.

Angie, it’s on Thursday. I’m hoping hubby or someone in my family sees this post before then. ;) Summer birthdays are da bomb.

I’ve seen these books from a blog post from someone else and I think they’re beautiful. I hope you do get then for your birthday. Birthdays are great excuses for us to buy more books. :) Advanced Happy Birthday!

Exactly, Michelle. Andrew doesn’t take hints. I learned that a long time ago. I’ve already shown him images of some of these. :)
